Nahrin Orange Oil – 15ml

Natural orange oil is found in the oil glands found in the orange peel and extracted by cold pressing and which is then put in a centrifuge. It takes 500kg of oranges to get 1kg of essence.
Orange is very light and heat sensitive and therefore we advise to store it in the refrigerator. Often manufacturers add stabilizers in order to extend the durability.

The orange tree is used to produce three different essential oils:

• the blossom (Neroli Portugal)
• the tips of the branches and leaves (Petite Grain)
• the fruit peel

Both the oil from the sweet orange and bitter orange are used. Neroli, however, is only taken from the flowers of the bitter orange tree. The Nahrin oil is extracted from the orange fruit peel.

The oranges we use to make our oil come from trees which are free from pesticides and other residues as these unwanted ingredients would otherwise end up in the oil. Our oranges therefore more expensive.

Orange oil is the ideal oil to start in aromatherapy. There is hardly anybody who does not like this oil. Orange essence is harmonizing and puts you in good mood. Also children love this essence.

The essence from orange cares and calms dry, itchy and greasy skin. It stimulates the regenerative capacity and specially cares for dry and hard skin areas. As orange oil stimulates the cutaneous circulation and ideal for areas of poor circulation.

Helps relieve inflammation of the gums when used as mouthwash or selected areas can be treated with a drop of essence on an ear bud.

Orange oil can stimulate digestion and it may be taken internally (2-3 drops) mixed with honey. The oil also contains  vitamin C which helps your body’s  defense system.

Orange oil combines very well with warm spices as coriander, cinnamon and juniper.

USE

• Aroma therapy: Add 3 drops to the water of the aroma therapy lamp
• Aerosol: Add 3 – 5 drops in an aerosol spray
• Friction: 1 drop per rub on energy point
• Massage: Add 3 – 5 drops to a massage oil
• Sauna: Add 3 – 5 drops to the sauna water
• Bath: Add 10 drops to the bathing water (you need an emulsifier like honey, milk or a Nahrin Thyme Bath Essence)
• Steam bath: Add 3 – 5 drops to the water
• Foot bath: Add 3 drops to a bowl filled with warm or tepid water
• Skin: Add 1 drop into a little bit of base cream for local skin application. Massage lightly until absorbed.
• Air humidifier: Add 3 drops to the water of the air humidifier
