Nahrin Thyme Oil – 15ml

The most important characteristic of thyme is its germicidal effect and in early times was an antibiotic of poor people. Even diluted 1:1000 thyme essence still achieves to kill certain bacteria. It has as strong disinfecting effect as many chemical disinfecting agents and what’s more also it has antiviral properties. This is due to thyme’s stimulation effect on our white blood cells, the body’s defense system. Thyme oil is beneficial against respiratory tract infections (colds, bronchitis, catarrh, flu etc.). Used a few drops in the bath, as compress or a couple of drops in hot water and inhaled.

Athlete’s foot can be treated with pure essence. First, however, protected the skin around the affected area Nahrin Arnica Cream or Nahrin Marigold Cream. Pure thyme oil should not otherwise be applied directly onto the skin.

Thyme can also be used for greasy skin as cleansing lotion – add 5 drops to a 100ml of water. Wipe with clean cotton pad.

Dandruff can also be treated with thyme oil  –  Dissolve 2 drops in a glass of water and apply after washing hair with Nahrin Tea Tree Shampoo shampoo on wet hair. Do not rinse.

Combines very well with lavender, Thea Tree and Peppermint oil.

USE

• Aroma therapy: Add 3 drops to the water of the aroma therapy lamp
• Aerosol: Add 3 – 5 drops in an aerosol spray
• Rubs: 1 drop per rub on energy point
• Massage: Add 3 – 5 drops to a massage oil
• Sauna: Add 3 – 5 drops to the sauna water
• Bath: Add 10 drops to the bathing water (you need an emulsifier like honey, milk or a Nahrin Thyme Bath Essence)
• Steam bath: Add 3 – 5 drops to the water
• Foot bath: Add 3 drops to a bowl filled with warm or tepid water
• Skin: Add 1 drop into a little bit of base cream for local skin application. Massage lightly until absorbed.
• Air humidifier: Add 3 drops to the water of the air humidifier
