Nahrin Geranium Oil – 15ml

This plant has its origins in Northern Africa from Morocco to Egypt. While this plant is abundantly found in Europe, the oil from Egypt is a lot stronger and of a higher quality.

The essence of Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) is obtained by vapor distillation of the leaves of the plant. It takes 500kg of leaves to create 1kg of essence. Therefore high quality Geranium Oil is quite expensive to buy. Beware: there are many fake or diluted geranium oils to be found! If it is too cheap there is every reason to doubt its quality or content.

The Geranium oil has a floral fragrance, and resembles the fragrance of a rose. For this reason many manufacturers use it instead of the even more expensive rose oil. As the Geranium oil is suitable by all skin types, it is often used in bath or massage products.

It is harmonising and has a relaxing effect for those suffering from emotional stress. It helps to fight depressions.

Used as oil for the ambient air for balancing and harmonising moods. Use on skin as an astringent and antiseptic or for its purifying and refreshing effect.

It also has strong insect repellent useful properties.

Geranium oil combines very well with all the citric oils (lemon, orange etc.) and with lavender.

This product is 100% natural and contains the highest quality essential oils which have been distilled in steam currents in Swiss laboratories.

USE

• Aroma therapy: Add 3 drops to the water of the aroma therapy lamp
• Aerosol: Add 3 – 5 drops in an aerosol spray
• Friction: 1 drop per rub on energy point
• Massage: Add 3 – 5 drops to a massage oil
• Sauna: Add 3 – 5 drops to the sauna water
• Bath: Add 10 drops to the bathing water (you need an emulsifier like honey, milk or a Nahrin Thyme Bath Essence)
• Steam bath: Add 3 – 5 drops to the water
• Foot bath: Add 3 drops to a bowl filled with warm or tepid water
• Skin: Add 1 drop into a little bit of base cream for local skin application. Massage lightly until absorbed.
• Air humidifier: Add 3 drops to the water of the air humidifier
