Nahrin Tea Tree Oil – 15ml

Our oils combines various oils of the Tea Tree family each with their individual benefits which gives our oil blend its unique characteristics:

Melaleuca alternifolia: This Tea Tree variant grows exclusively in Australia used for thousands of years by  indigenous inhabitants for its healing powers in compresses for the cleansing and healing of wounds, sores and ulcers. Legend has it that Captain Cook and his men used the leaves to prepare a refreshing drink thus coining the tree’s name.

Manuka Oil: This oil with the botanical name ‘Leptospermum scoparium’ is a native plant from New Zealand; originally, but can be found throughout Australia, Tasmania, New-Guinea and South East Asia.

Rosalina Oil: This oil with the botanical name ‘Melaleuca ericifolia’ is an evergreen paper bark shrub native to New South Wales and Queensland. As its other Tea Tree relatives it has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and immune-stimulant effect.

Niaouli Oil: Niaouli is related with the Cajeput tree and grows in Australia. Its fragrance is strongly associated to Eucalyptus, but somewhat lighter and fresher. If you breath Cajeput it frees your respiratory tract, therefore it is often used to inhale or for use in the sauna.

Quality and therefore effectiveness can vary greatly. There are two components which distinguishing high quality Tea Tree oil from the rest:

• Cineol – the less the better. Quantity can vary from 3% to 60%.
• Terpinen-4-ol – a so-called guiding substance, it is important to have a high percentage. Quantity it can vary between 27% and 70%.

USE

• Aroma therapy: Add 3 drops to the water of the aroma therapy lamp
• Aerosol: Add 3 – 5 drops in an aerosol spray
• Rubs: 1 drop per rub on energy point
• Massage: Add 3 – 5 drops to a massage oil
• Sauna: Add 3 – 5 drops to the sauna water
• Bath: Add 10 drops to the bathing water (you need an emulsifier like honey, milk or a Nahrin Thyme Bath Essence)
• Steam bath: Add 3 – 5 drops to the water
• Foot bath: Add 3 drops to a bowl filled with warm or tepid water
• Skin: Add 1 drop into a little bit of base cream for local skin application. Massage lightly until absorbed.
• Air humidifier: Add 3 drops to the water of the air humidifier
